I was much exhilarated indeed by your inauguration but, as much as I hate stating it, it does seem you, "who had been all things to all people" – did not reach the promise. 
Even though I devote but a slim and intermittent portion of my time to politics, especially US, a Hollywood actor spoke against you today too. I know you will allow me a joke: yes, I realise postmodern Washington recruits among those as well.
If I were in your shoes, I'd actually help what Wiki proved to be an especially dangerous part of dealing: behind-the-scenes not-plain dealing.
I say opt out and write a book. You may be wiser. In my country, elderly people fear a 'worse' evil.
