But, even though I just explained over coffee I would like to devote my time to finer things in life, the Devil would have it I open the newspapers as well.

And it seems to me my country is very much like yours. It's just that we do the decay with far less money. We also have this self-governing tradition as experience that, I tell you, you would bribe for to have it.

So what do I think of USA? That it's a disgrace, but you shouldn't recoil. I watched a documentary about 14 year olds who do crack. To exaggerate, you get out of your apartment and you get mugged or worse. A friend of mine said: "Gawd, it wasn't like that here even in '91."

As I said, not much different. Actually, if I tried summarizing, I would say it's all business as usual.
